Everyone with a valid website that pertains to hobbies done with a needle that is individually owned can have their website listed in the text link index pages for free.   Personal web pages or blogs are listed at the bottom of the pages of the page that pertains to the page or blog.  Sites that do not pertain to hobbies done with a needle cannot be listed in these indexes.   If your site offers multiple items that pertain to different index lists then you may be on each list that pertains to items on your site at your request.  When we post a link ourselves the link will be posted on the page that we think the site pertains to the most.  All requests for a link will be checked before posting.  If your link is posted, a link back to Sew Snazzee would be appreciated but not mandatory. 

We will not list sites that:

  • Sites that do not work properly

  • questionable advertising plastered on their front page or with pop-ups

  • sites that have not updated in over a year or appear years old with no newer content

  • sites that are under construction

  • that have links or pop-ups that redirect to pages that do not pertain to that link

  • an obtrusive amount of pop-ups

  • sites that are nothing more than advertising or link pages

  • sites that offer swapping of copyright material belonging to another site

  • sites offering illegal designs, patterns, or projects

Visiting the web should be a pleasant experience and not an hours long visit wading through unpleasant, obtrusive, mis-leading sites

 .  Sites will be checked initially and  spot checked periodically for any of the above and removed from this list if necessary.  We reserve the right to our policies in advertising on our site and to decide if a website is advertised on our website.

Banner Boxes on Index Pages

The banner boxes on the index pages are leased on a month-to-month or 3 month basis.  Banner can be changed once a month only. The banner ads must pertain to anything that has to do with hobbies done by the needle and Must be owned by an individual business-no ads allowed that point to sites that are advertising only or point to sites that are seemingly directories, as we believe in helping indiviual websites advertise.    It will be to our decision as to whom may be classified as a commercial business.

  Ads will be placed from the top down in the order of  ad leasing. Ads are placed on a first come basis. When an advertiser leaves and a new advertiser is posted the new advertiser will be at the bottom of the banner ads as those who have paid longer move upwards to benefit their seniority in leasing a spot.  Once an advertiser leaves and if they return, they must start at the bottom of the ads as they loose seniority once they leave.  You can get on a waiting list once ad space is full and/or more ad boxes are added to pages as the page grows.  You must choose ad boxes that are on pages that pertain to your website business.  Websites will be checked to make sure they pertain to the requested advertisement space.

  • banner ad must be no larger than 150 x 100 pixels in gif or jpg format only.  banner can be script but must abide by rules

  • The banners must link to the website that is being advertised.

  • ads must pertain to the specified hobbies listed below

  • banners can be coupons, text words, pictures, etc. as long as it fits the requested sizing

  • if you send a copy of ad as a jpg or gif uncompressed we will compress banner for web optimization

  • it is the advertiser's responsibility to keep their ads paid and up to date, any ads unpaid for will be terminated on the 4th day of non-payment

  • no animated  or flash banner ads

  • banner changes must be sent in no later than the 23rd day of each month for the next month or previous banner ad will be run.  

  • limit 1 banner ad per website page

  • websites advertising through  banners must have a link back to Sew Snazzee either by text or banner links.  Banner is at bottom of this page.

  • Needlepoint

  • Quilting

  • Tatting

  • Rug-Hooking

  • Cross-Stitch

  • Stumpwork

  • Sewing

  • Handmade Items for sale using any of the hobbies listed above

  • Supplies and gadgets for any of the above selections
